We purchased a Q3 wheelchair. We have taken three trips with it so far and each one was amazing that my wife is now able to join in the family fun!!!
My priorities were 1} price, 2) lightweight and foldable, 3) power.
1) At $629 out the door the D3 clearly met my budget issues.
2) At 39 lbs it is just at the limit of my 69 year old partners ability to lift it into the back of our hatchback. Also it folds easily into one flat piece instead of multiple pieces like many other scooters.
3) To get from my front door to my car to the street requires going up a very steep walkway. Also I weight 260lbs. The D3 scoots up the walkway with power to spare.
4) The D3 has two batteries. It was not made clear when I bought it that it only uses one battery at a time. When one battery gets low you need to swap them to put the 2nd fresh battery in. It is easy for me to swap the batteries while sitting on the scooter. I find the range for each battery to be excellent. To charge the batteries I bring them both indoors. The batteries charge very fast.
I just received my scooter a few days before vacation. It was a life saver. I would love to have a couple of accessories such as a cup holder and a basket.
I bought this for my sister and she is very heavy and has carpet that made the wheelchair not turn well in her house. I tried the wheelchair myself and it works fine for me. I will keep it since it work for me . It works well for me.
Fantastic product! My mother loves the chair. The quality is top notch and fits around the house well.
