Bought this for my father. He's been in a wheelchair for years but his old chair was too big and struggled through doorways. The Q3 is compact and nimble, can glide through all our doorways, even the narrow bathroom door. No more getting stuck... Dad can move freely around the house. The controls are simple and he learned instantly.
Now he joins us in the kitchen, answers the front door himself. The independence is priceless. Lightweight too. Easy for me to lift into the car. Best gift I've ever given him. Seeing his smile says it all. Highly recommended for your family!
Love this wheelchair! My dog and I go out every day. This chair is perfect for us. Very quiet and easy to control with one hand. I can hold it comfortably. Good power for small hills. Battery lasts our long walks, lightweight. My dog is happy. I'm happy. We're enjoying our daily life. Great freedom!
My mom has been using it for 6 months now. No complaints- solidly built, zero technical issues, easy to transport and operate.
Only issue maybe that the horn button doesn't work.
I’ve only had my new wheelchair for a week and it is already a game changer!
I love that as an ambulatory wheelchair user who is trying to be more active, I can switch between a walker and a rollator whenever I need. I’ve already been getting more exercise because I don’t have to use a wheelchair for the entirety of longer distances out of fear of my health acting up. Now I can switch between the two at ease!
Some of my other pros and cons:
Pros:
- Long driving distance between chargings
- Comfortable hand controls for people with chronic pain like myself
- easily folds up into a relatively small space in a car
- lightweight for an electric wheelchair at only ~45 pounds without the removable battery
- Light battery makes it easier to charge
- Feels much more stable on a lateral slope compared to my old wheelchair (going sideways instead of going up/down slope)
- Smoother, less bumpy ride than my old wheelchair
- Runs smoothly on flat grass
- Handles relatively steep slopes surprisingly well (though does gripe at you for doing so)
- Rainproof, according to advertising!
- comes with two storage options, the pouch on the back + an under seat bag (not pictured here)
Cons:
- says in instruction manual can’t go in temperatures below freezing, which could be a problem when I’m soon moving to a colder climate. Might be limitation of any wheelchair with a similar battery though
- 4 Set speeds instead of a dial, and first 2 speeds are way too similar and slow, at least when outside. However, the joystick is speed sensitive to how far you push it in a direction, so you can somewhat overcome the only 4 set speeds by having a lighter or heavier hand to vary your speed
It's so easy to use. I can assemble it quickly. Just a few simple steps. It fits perfectly in my car trunk. Very lightweight. But still sturdy. Now I go anywhere I want, shopping trips, park visits. So simple. So convenient. The ride is smooth. Handling is easy. Highly recommend this chair.
