Every person with mobility issues has different needs . I have a nice scooter that I have enjoyed over the years but it weighs a little more than I can lift. I can manage the Flex by myself which gives me renewed freedom. My issue is post polio which has gradually taken all the strength in the leg affected by the virus. I can only walk very short distances with a walker and not at all otherwise. I have used the Flex already to visit someone in the Hospital, go to my Nephew's football game, and casually shop in a Department Store with a 6 year old Great Nephew. It has been awhile since I have done any shopping except online. None of the devices I have purchased before were as affordable or had any accessories. I am very happy with my purchase.
I realize everyone has different needs…………. in my case I walk 70% of the time and ride 30% of the time. I’m 6 foot one, 207 pounds. The flexibility I really like is the fact that I can narrow the width of the flex and with its light weight I’m able to handle it with relative ease.
I had back surgery 1 year ago and it didn't work. My wife and I were very active before the surgery. We liked to walk around the neighborhood and I was not able to do after the surgery. My wife did not feel comfortable going my herself. We decided that maybe a scooter would let us return to the outdoors. I purchased a L-5 scooter and our life has changed as we never thought it would again. Kootdo's to Paiseec for letting us live again. Thanks Paiseec Jim and Billie A.
The flex has been great for me , it has allowed me to be able to go out more easily with how light and convenient it truly is !
