You did your best to instruct me on how to unfold the scooter but failed to tell me I had to turn it on with the key to get the job done. When I finally figured it out myself, you thanked me for the information and pledged to see that this vital step is included in the next edition of the user's manual.
Comfortable and easy to operate. Initially took a few goes to work out unfolding/folding technique but soon sorted. Weight requires two to lift it and it does take up a lot of boot (trunk if you’re N. American) room but the positives far outweigh the negatives. Would benefit with a key unlock for security. At present battery must be removed if leaving it out of sight.
We just took the Q5 on our first international trip and love it! It made our airport experience so much better since we weren't relying on wheelchair service and gave my wife a feeling of independence back. Gate checking it was quick and easy and it is so lightweight the baggage handlers were impressed. We are so happy we purchased this one after looking at every available option on the market.
Happy to have doubled my capacity. But the way I use the Q5, I’m not sure I needed the second battery. I use it 10-12 times a week, and I still have 4 green lights. I never use it for hours at a time, but with the spare battery, I am confident I can go any!
My 85 yr old wife spent 10 mins on the scooter and then off to Disney Epcot for the real test and she did a great job moving around and thru the crowd for 12 hrs vs she would have lasted 15 mins walking around on foot with her cane after her stroke. A great scooter and worth every bit. Thanks!!!
